Dog Sponsorship

There are some canine residents who, sadly, have lived all or most of their lives at Mostly Mutts.  Some are older or "special needs."   They are all known and loved by the volunteers, but they still deserve a chance at a loving home.  Please consider adopting a special needs dog, or Click on instructions for sponsoring a dog.  Donations go to the general shelter fund.


If your Sponsored Dog is listed as either Adopted or crossing the Rainbow Bridge, you are welcome, if you wish, to choose another dog , or your sponsorship may be continued in  honor or memory of your dog.  Please be assured that your sponsorship makes it possible for many of our older "citizens" to remain healthy and happy...   Thank you

A boxer mix, around 6 years old. He loves to play ball and go for long walks. He’s OK with other dogs who are submissive, but likes to be Alpha. He’s affectionate with the volunteers he knows best and loves to make new human friends.

Earl Grey is a senior Chihuahua. The little ole man needs extra special care and love. He is hard of hearing, has a heart condition, and needs some extra work on his teeth. Earl would just be satisfied spending his days on a warm lap.

This is Lauren’s son, like her, he is timid at first. Like his brothers, Ricky and Raoul, he will bestow all his affection upon you. (And Raoul recently proved that when he was adopted!)

Along with her brothers Desi and Manny, Lucy was found as a puppy living in the wild in a ground hog hole. They have come to love the volunteers and enjoy walking together with Lauren and her boys, Jake & Ricky.

A little “Jug” (Jack Russell-Pug mix) who, along with her sister, Tammy, were rescued from a shut down puppy mill. These 2 sweet girls are victims of the designer breed industry where their puppies were a cash crop to the miller.
